Price your item

You may list items at any price you feel is fair, regardless of the AlphaDiscounters price or list price, within the limits set by AlphaDiscounters, and so long as your price adheres to the AlphaDiscounters Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy and AlphaDiscounters Policy on Reference Prices.

Sellers on the selling may list items at a price in excess of 10,000 Euros. Sellers on the Professional selling plan may list items at a price in excess of 300,000 Euros.

These price limits do not apply to Collectibles listings. For more information about Collectibles category requirements, search for “collectibles” in seller Help.

Pricing definitions

The item price is the amount payable by a customer, excluding shipping and handling, as it appears when you list an item.

The total price is the amount payable by a customer as well as all terms of offer/sale. This includes all of the following:

• Shipping and handling charges
• Discounts, rebates, or special sales/promotions you offer/make with respect to purchases
• Shipping method
• Business practices, such as any reduction or elimination of shipping charges on an order, or of any other order-related fees and expenses
• Low-price guarantees

The total price does not include discounts, sales, rebates, or other promotional offers you attempt to make available the marketplace AlphaDiscounters that we do not honor or support.

AlphaDiscounters Policy on Reference Prices

In many product categories, you have the option of supplying a reference price, such as a List Price (for example, a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price). Reference prices are displayed in several places, including on product detail pages and in search results for your products, to show savings to customers.

• The List Price you provide should represent the price at which you, or other retailers or sellers, have recently made or intend to make substantial sales of the product in question.
• You also are responsible for ensuring that the reference prices you provide to us remain current.

If you do not have a ready-to-provide List Price, a possible value could be the first price at which you offered or will offer the product.

Other reference prices

A Was Price is automatically computed and changes over time. The Was Price is determined using the 90-day median price paid by customers for the product on AlphaDiscounters. We exclude prices paid by customers for the product during a limited time deal.

AlphaDiscounters Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy

Sellers are responsible for setting their own prices on AlphaDiscounters marketplaces. In our mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company, AlphaDiscounters strives to provide our customers with the largest selection at the lowest price, and with the fastest delivery as sellers play an important role.

AlphaDiscounters regularly monitors the prices of items on our marketplaces, including shipping costs, and compares them with other prices available to our customers. If we see pricing practices on a marketplace offer that harms customer trust, AlphaDiscounters can remove the Buy Box, remove the offer, suspend the ship option, or, in serious or repeated cases, suspending or terminating selling privileges.

Pricing practices that harm customer trust include, but are not limited to:

• Setting a reference price on a product or service that misleads customers;
• Setting a price on a product or service that is significantly higher than recent prices offered on or off AlphaDiscounters; or
• Selling multiple units of a product for more per unit than that of a single unit of the same product.

Setting a shipping fee on a product that is excessive. AlphaDiscounters considers current public carrier rates, reasonable handling charges, as well as buyer perception when determining whether a shipping price violated our fair pricing polic
